ABOUT V

Born to Lithuanian immigrants who fled to the US to escape Soviet oppression, V grew up an anti-communist and a patriot, grateful for a country which had given his family freedom and a new start.

He showed his gratitude by enlisting in the US Army, where he has had a lengthy and distinguished career serving in a variety of assignments in 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), NATO Special Operations Headquarters, Special Operations Command Europe, the Pentagon Joint Staff, Army Recruiting, Wounded Warrior Transition Command, and the 82nd Infantry Division (Airborne) to name a few. He retired as a Special Forces (Green Beret) Colonel after 32+ years having earned two Bronze Stars, the Legion of Merit and the Defense Superior Service Medal.

He currently does pro bono work as a VA Accredited attorney to help disabled veterans. A dedicated family man, he lives in Wausau with his wife and their two children.

Let's Make Wausau an Affordable Community for All!

  • Lower Property Taxes so we're not paying twice the national average and more than most cities in Wisconsin.

  • Increase Wausau's Revenue Generation by closing Tax Incremental Districts, restructuring City Hall, selling surplus city-owned property, and enticing business development and job creation with lower taxes.

  • Stop Reckless Spending by the city council while focusing on safety and essential services - When you're in a hole, you stop digging!
